How We Teach

Learning Croatian doesn’t have to be stressful or boring. Our lessons are designed to be engaging, personalized, and focused on real communication. Here’s a closer look at what makes our approach different:

  • We believe speaking should come first. Our lessons are centered on real conversations about your interests and everyday life, not scripted dialogues. Grammar comes naturally as you speak.

  • We use the Natural Approach: just like kids learn their first language through listening, we surround you with Croatian through visuals, stories, and audio. You’ll speak when you’re ready.

  • You’ll hear and read Croatian that’s just slightly above your level — enough to stretch your skills, but never overwhelm. It helps you pick up grammar and vocabulary naturally.

  • We use Total Physical Response (TPR) for young learners — kids learn through movement, play, and acting out words. It keeps them focused, engaged, and having fun.

  • Our lessons are built around real-life tasks like planning a trip or going shopping. It’s hands-on, so you practice new words and grammar while using them in context.

  • We want you to feel comfortable and excited to use what you’ve learned. Our lessons are supportive, flexible, and designed to help you speak Croatian in real situations.
